Many young people leaving care move into their first accommodation between the age of 16-25 with the very few belongings they own, in a bin bag. For many, the feeling of “home” has never been stable or consistent.
At an age when most of their peers are still supported, care leavers are expected to navigate independence quickly, often arriving to empty spaces that are difficult to settle into.
We exist to change that.
Here 2 Belong ensures that no young person leaving care begins adulthood in a bare room but in a home that reflects dignity, comfort and belonging.
